Article from “The Generation of Positive impact” by D’PAZ Magazine
While I still write this article, I am a twenty -year -old boy. My most experience was to found Mederi KOI, of which I am still CEO. In case you do not know, I am also the main editor of this magazine and the founder/owner of the D’PAZ brand. In my short experience in business I have noticed that the great mentors and successful entrepreneurs that I have known have a wrong idea about the ability of young people. As if because they are young we underestimate us too much. We are from the generation that was born with all the information in the palm of the hand, but they still think that we do not know any analysis or market study. And therefore, some are surprised when they see a twenty or sixteen -year -old boy to set up a company and have the mentality that took time to have. And it is not that they say that young people know all the answers, it is clear that it is not so, but it should not be a surprise that more and more young people have valid opinion, even for those who are teachers.
In my company Mederi KOI one of our values is diversity. And it is that creating a great team different to each other opens our minds. There is only one thing in which we must be the same, it is our values as teams and human beings. One of the things that will do better to a Board of Directors will be to have youth and experience together, but unfortunately we do not have such young people in the management councils because it is thought that inexperience cannot foresee obstacles along the way. I do not agree. And if you are part of a Board of Directors you will know that experience is sometimes limiting, since all experiences can be different from something.
Most councils in business administration are controlled by a select demographic group; Pale, male and rancid. The strongest voice in diversity has been expressed around low female representation in the advice; However, there are other demographic groups of interested parties that are represented, including the youngest.
With the disruption in almost all sectors of the economy and the rhythm of technological changes, companies need to adapt and respond as quickly as possible to keep up and survive. Diversity, such as including young people in important decisions is also.
Most of the reasons you are part of a committee or administration is due to; Mark a difference, make something new, follow an interest and why not? To have fun a little. And young people are not the future, they are also our present. Young people are the largest and constantly change demographic group that almost all companies should take into account. And a great example is marketing techniques, and selling something to a twenty -year -old is different from selling it to a septuagenarian. Including young people can help ensure that services, products, events and decisions are more relevant and appropriate. Because?. Because young people contribute a different perspective, in general they are the most experts in technology, represent the greatest workforce, their leadership styles tend to be more collaborative and inclusive. The best of young people is not knowing enough to know what certain things are impossible. So they do impossible things.
Youth bring fresh perspectives, innovative thinking, and a deep understanding of emerging technologies, which are crucial in today’s fast-paced digital economy. Their adaptability and hunger for change can spark new ideas that might otherwise be overlooked in more traditional settings.
Moreover, young leaders are often more attuned to issues of social responsibility and sustainability, which are increasingly vital for businesses to address in order to remain relevant and connected to modern consumers.
By embracing this new generation, organizations position themselves to be more agile, progressive, and prepared for the future. It’s not just about inclusion—it’s about creating a dynamic synergy that drives growth, innovation, and a sustainable vision for tomorrow.
Ultimately, the energy and forward-thinking mindset of young leaders act as a catalyst for progress, making them invaluable to any organization aiming to thrive in an ever-changing world.
